1) Digital Photography was an interesting class to take. It provided a new perspective on something so simple as a photograph. In the beginning of the class, I couldn't grasp the meaning of capturing a moment and telling a story. I thought I could click a button and be done. However, when you're capable of either putting together an image or capturing one, there's truly more than meets the eye. Everything tells a story and everything has a reason. Just because it's not obviously given, it doesn't mean that it's there. I've grown as a student in their course with the understanding of what photography really is. I didn't pick these works based off the grades, but off the feedback. The more you can argue or discuss a photo, you realize the better it is. It shows how many stories it really can tell.

2) Dystopia offers a new perspective on pieces of writing. These pieces generally give the unexpected which you'd find in a typical work. After reading a few works we had to create our own dystopian allegory. This task was difficult at first because we had a lot on freedom with what we could write about. However once I got my idea it became easier and more enjoyable to continue. It helped me better understand the purpose behind a dystopian story.

3) This Shakespeare course felt invigorating. The complexity of the language and understanding made it more important to ensure you knew what was going on. During a few assignments I had trouble knowing what should be done. I didn't exactly know if I was doing it right. Reaching the end of the semester, we could to cut down a play that would typically be hours into 20 minutes. This assignment made us analyze our plays deeper and grasping a true understanding of our work. I feel like I found new ways to look at any piece of writing that could help me in the future.
